These facts make this an entertaining, but sobering, look at the particular point in our history in which we find ourselves at the doorstep for a better future. In today's challenging times of disseminating real news from fake news, this documentary provides insight into how science (and common sense) can be ignored in the name of politics. I agree with the message of this documentary, but some of it is a little ignorant and based off of opinions. How might someone who is against the legalization and use of cannabis respond to the arguments presented in this documentary?

I'm glad what will inevitably be referred to as "the Netflix weed doc" is largely about the war on drugs' outsized effect on radicalized communities and the current intense discrimination with regards to the burgeoning legal market. It does well applying that cultural lens to understand the ongoing issues faced by many communities ravaged by the war on drugs. This doc is pro-legalization, but it is balanced enough not to be dismissed.
