Ava wants the world to see how totally together this whole Legends of Tomorrow operation is. When one of our main characters makes an actual deal with the actual devil, it shouldn’t feel like a triumph. Nora also banishes Ray to the Waverider with her current Fairy Godmother charge, Pippa, so that he can keep her occupied while she babysits her megalomaniacal father. For an installment that was, all in all, filler, DC's Legends of Tomorrow Season 5 Episode 6was outstanding. She’s the pivot character, the one who can move the audience back and forth between comedy and character drama. And Tala Ashe’s Zari returns from a timeline reboot as a parody of a certain mega-celebrity. The Time Idiots are fighting “Encores” this year. Damien knows that since he isn’t causing havoc and pain, Astra is going to recall him to Hell. Sara and Ava talk through a problem that had been boiling away in the background, demonstrating to John and Charlie how to talk through a problem by communicating.
